Peter Blenski has been a children’s librarian in the Milwaukee area for five years. After several contentious elections, he has been president of his Lego Club for three years. As a boy, Peter would play with Legos by opening the kit, putting it together exactly how it was suppose to be, then just having it sit there. He now thinks that Lego Club is such a better building experience for children, since it combines creativity and problem solving with cooperation and time management. Peter also writes reviews for both “School Library Journal” and “Booklist.” He spends most of his free time with his fiancee and their dog. Neither of them like Legos.
